WAWC supports Animal Law Day

With the second national Animal Law Day taking place on Monday 22 July 2024, WAWC Secretary Libby Anderson has recorded a short video expressing the WAWC’s support for the event, and thanking advocates for animal welfare around the UK for their work. Animal Law Day is organised by the UK Centre for Animal Law (A LAW), a charity that exists to promote knowledge and education about the law relating to animal protection, and the more effective enforcement of legislation relating to animals. WAWC has worked with A LAW over the years, for example in joint parliamentary briefings on the use of snares and the need to promote ethical principles in wildlife management.
