The WAWC welcomes posters for presentation at the conference relating to the subject of wild animal welfare.
The inaugural Wild Animal Welfare Committee conference in Edinburgh on Tuesday 8 November will include opportunities for delegates attending the event to submit posters for display throughout the day.
The conference will offer an opportunity for discussion with like-minded colleagues.
Abstracts of posters presented will also be made available on the WAWC website following the conference.
A prize will be awarded for the best poster presented by a post graduate or undergraduate student.
Please let us know if you are a student and wish to be judged for the student prize. All abstracts will be reviewed for suitability for inclusion but not otherwise peer reviewed for content. Authors of suitable abstracts will be notified by 28th October. If an abstract is accepted for a poster presentation then a poster should be produced in portrait orientation and of A0 size (1189 mm tall by 841 mm wide) and be delivered to the reception desk of the conference at Edinburgh City Chambers, 253 High Street, Edinburgh EH1 1YJ by 9.00am on 8th November 2016.
Full day delegate tickets cost £45 to include all refreshments and drinks reception.
